Imperial Capital Bank was organized in 1974 as Imperial Thrift and Loan Association, a California
Industrial Loan Bank. In 1995, Imperial Thrift and Loan Association went public through the sale of
its shares in an initial public offering.
In 2000, the Bank's name was changed to Imperial Capital Bank, and in January 2003, Imperial Capital
Bank's charter changed to a state chartered non-member commercial bank. Imperial Capital Bank is now
positioned to offer the full complement of deposit products, including checking accounts, which
Industrial Banks are precluded from offering by law.

| • Imperial Bank showed a strong turnaround in performance, reflecting the benefits of the growing
economy as well as the favorable credit environment. I have never had an instance of the server
crashing on me. The reliability and "up-time" of the service truly has been amazing.
• Imperial Bank has always been ahead of its counterparts when it comes to incorporating technology
into its operations. This is truly evident in its excellent online banking service which it unveiled
a year ago.
• I can manage ALL my accounts online. Customer service is ALWAYS 24 hours, and always very helpful.
They have been known to waive fees, credit my card back, and send me complimentary checks when I
needed them. I've never had any issues with curt or abusive tellers or customer service agents.
• I’ve been banking with Imperial Bank for about 18 months now and quite happy with the service.
Since it’s a salary account I enjoy a zero balance account. |
